The 2016 MCF World T20 Cup was the inaugural edition of the MCF World T20 Cup, and was held in Vyktory between 1 February and 17 February 2016. All nine then-MCF member nations qualified automatically, and the tournament was played as a straight knock-out competition; seven randomly-picked teams received byes to the second round, with the first round consisting of one match to determine the last team to compete in the final eight.
The tournament—Micras' first ever cricket world cup—was won by Craitland, who beat Senya in the final with a successful run chase.
