The Marquess of Shirekeep (or Marchioness of Shirekeep if held by a woman) is a Shirerithian title of nobility created in 1557. Originally created by the Duke of Brookshire as a subsidiary title for his steward, it was later (unknown when) imperialized (i.e. transferred from Brookshire to Shireroth's nobility) by a kaiser, for ex officio use of the Stewards of the Imperial Republic. It has since fallen out of use, with Altea Lomax being the last steward to use the title by permission of Kaiseress Noor.
