Gnu is an Elwynnese bailiwick and island in the Normark–Lindley Passage. Capital is the town of the same name where there is a UDF base. Politically, part of Normark.
The island was historially called the Isle of Saint Joan and the town of Gnu was known as Montford during its Nova English period. The northern part of the island has also belonged to Ashkenatza, where the Ayzstantsye Gnu base in modern Gnu town (old Montford).
