The MHL Women's World Championships is the highest level of international women's ice hockey competition organised by the MHL, the governing body of the sport on Micras.

The tournament is played once a year, being competed for by twelve nations.

Format

The six nations which qualified for last season's knockout stages are in the 'A' Conference, and the other teams are in the 'B' Conference. The top four teams from the 'A' Conference, and the top two from the 'B' Conference advance to the knockout stages. The 'C' Conference exists beneath the 'B' Conference, although this is not part of the main competition, as no teams from this division advance to the playoffs. The bottom two teams from the 'B' Conference are relegated to the 'C' Conference, with the top two teams from the 'C' Conference replacing them.

Squads

All competing nations for each tournament are required to name a roster of players. Competing nations have to name a roster of 2 goaltenders and 18 skaters. Teams may use any numbers from 1 to 99.
