An amphibious operation undertaken by ESB-Allied forces to secure the ruinous and abandoned Babkhan port of Susa as a base of operations for the prosecution of the campaign waged by Raspur and Constancia against Iteru.
Whilst the initial landing was unopposed following the Battle of Alkhiva, the port and adjacent disembarkation beaches were within striking distance of Iteru's large, albeit obsolescent, air force which attempted two full scale saturation raids against the allied beachhead as well as numerous other tip and run raids against shipping in the Gulf of Susa.
