Eathel assumed the throne of Celebarad upon the death of his brother Thawain in 1717. As King of Celebarad, he took initiative in uniting the realms of Nidaros and Riskai with Celebarad into the Three Kingdoms. He also oversaw an expansion of the control of the Celebaradi throughout the coast and the integration of the Inis Balar into Celebarad. Eathel is married to Queen Rihonna.
Early Life
Eathel was born in the year 1660 AN, In Sithril's Grove just outside Celebarad. He was the second born child of Galahad, ruler of the Free People of Celebarad under Vanic oppression and his wife Elara. Eathel's education was carefully curated by the city's most knowledgeable scholars and mentors. He developed a keen interest in history, strategy, and the arts. His tutors recognized his natural aptitude for leadership and encouraged him to refine his diplomatic skills, laying the foundation for his future role as ruler.
As King of Celebarad
Upon the death of his brother Thawain, Eathel inherited the throne of Celebarad. From the outset, Eathel believed that a strong kingdom required more than just physical defenses; it needed cultural strength as well. Under his patronage, Celebarad experienced a cultural renaissance. He invited artists, poets, and scholars from across the Three Kingdoms fostering an atmosphere of creativity and intellectual exchange. Celebarad's illuminated manuscripts, intricate tapestries, and masterful sculptures became renowned throughout Micras.
Personal Life and Family
Eathel married Rihonna Lewis in 1692. Queen Rihonna is widely popular throughout the Kingdom, and renowned for her wisdom and grace. Their marriage was a union of mutual respect and shared values, providing a stable foundation for both their personal relationship and Eathel's rule. Together, Eathel and Elara were blessed with six children: Finn, Anduriël, Ioanna, Paula, Morgan, and Isildur.
