The Maschinenpistole 1720 is a weapon that was developed by Waffenschmiederei Ludwigshafen with the intention to create a new standard rifle for the armed forces of Sankt Ludwigshafen. The weapon is meant to replace the aging Repetierbüchse 1699, and has been in active service since 1720. For help in the the development of this weapon, Waffenschmiederei Ludwigshafen has reached out to arms manufacturers in other Raspur Pact states.
