Babran (Elw: Баброн, Babron) is an Elwynnese bailiwick and city in the Ardashirshahr metropolitan area. Bordering Ardashirshahr and Eskenderiyebandar in the north, Qajar in the south, and Majid-e Aik in the east, Babran is situated on the west bank of the Blue Elwynn. Its population is 1,800,994 (1679), of which 68% speak Babkhi and 14% Elw as their native languages. Babkhi is the only official language of the bailiwick.
It is the site of a rather controversial memorial to Kaspar Soleiman raised by die-hard supporters of the Emirate of Sathrati during Kaspar's tenure as emir. The memorial has since become a curiosity, as with time, people have moved on from Kaspar's treachery.
