The bailiwick borders Skrubbebør in the north, Høgmarken in the east, and the Green in the south. Population in 1679 was 135,200 inhabitants. Norse is the sole official language here, but with the UDF having a base here, Elw and Army Crandish are widely spoken and used in the area.

Hagbard and Signe are named after the story of Hagbard and Signe in Norse mythology.
