History
The SLF Cup was formed in early 2018, to provide a second competition for all professional Florian sides to compete in. It was also created to allow U23 teams to develop and play matches against senior sides. Teams in the Florian Republic also desired to play matches midweek and so the Florian FA decided to implement the competition from late 2018 onwards.
