Bangou (in the past known as North Dalmacija) is a province in the north-west of Jingdao. Its capital, Yuanbeicheng, is well known throughout the world as the City of Port Nevermore, which is one of the large naval ports of the Empire. The province borders Natopia in the north, which makes its northern border one of the most militarised ones within the Realm. It is also home to a large amount of farming communities and therefore acts as the bread basket of the nation and a necessary part for survival.
The District of Shenshi is home to the River Warriors, a tribe which the Kildari liberated from the Senyan government in 1618 AN. Nowadays, this region sees sporadic outbreaks of ethnic conflict against settlers of both Jingdaoese and Kildarian descent.
It's culturally and historically affiliated to the province of Qianjin, with which it shares its Dalmacijan heritage. In official court documents, the honorary title Thane of Dalmacija still exists.
