It recorded a federal population of 475,834,248, an increase of 6.17 percent over the {{AN|1748}} census.
The count was the last taken while the Federation comprised twelve Regions; [[Oportia]], which acceded in XII.{{AN|1755}}, was first enumerated at the [[1758 New Alexandrian census|1758 census]]. Its returns set the apportionment of the [[Federal Assembly of Nouvelle Alexandrie|Federal Assembly]] for the [[New Alexandrian general election, 1754|1754 general election]].

It recorded a federal population of 475,834,248, an increase of 6.17 percent over the 1748 AN census.
