The Constancian Defense Medal was created by the first official act and first Autokratorial Decree of Autokrator of Constancia Jaime Augusto Joaquin Primo de Aguilar.
The medal and ribbon is awarded by the Ministry of Defense to those who served in Basileus Megaliotate's Armed Forces or took arms in the defense of the Free Associative Kingdom of Constancia during the First Euran War. It is eligible to be awarded to foreigners.
Autokratorial Decree
Jaime Augusto Joaquin Primo de Aguilar by the Grace of the Basileus Grand Knight Commander of The Order of the Great Kingdom of Constancia, Sýmvoulos of the High Court, Minister of Finance, International Trade and Industry, Kyvernítis of the Basileusian Bank, Strategos of Oranje, Kanikleios of Basileusa Megaliotate and Autokrator of Constancia, Co-Ruler of the Kingdom
To all whom these commands shall come, the Autokrator sends
GREETING:
WHEREAS the brave deeds of the Constancian people and the heroic actions of Constancian soldiers, sailors, civil servants and armed civilians in the spirited defense of the homelands of the Free and Associative Kingdom in the recent Euran War are worthy of recognition and praise, and
WHEREAS the great and ultimate sacrifice of those who were lost are likewise worthy of remembrance and commemoration
In the name and with the authority of
Πετερ Τηε Τηιρδ by the Grace of God and the Fountains of the Kingdom of Constancia Basileus Head of the Constancian Church Defender of the Faith
LET IT THEREFORE BE KNOWN that we do hereby institute and create a new form of recognition to be known and styled as the Constancian Defense Medal
AND WE DO FURTHER DECLARE that this medal shall be of the following design, and exclusively minted by the Basileusan Bank

AND WE DO FURTHER DECLARE that this medal shall have a ribbon that is authorized for wear on military, and civil uniforms, as follows:

AND WE DO FURTHER DECLARE that those to be commemorated by the granting of this recognition shall be those who served in Basileus Megaliotate's Armed Forces or took arms in the defense of the Free and Associative Kingdom from the 8th of May to the 15th of July 2017 in the Gregorian reckoning
AND WE DO FURTHER DECLARE that those to be commemorated by the granting of this recognition shall be those who served in a civil or auxiliary capacity in Basileus Megaliotate's Government, or otherwise assisted in the general war effort for at least 30 consecutive days from the 8th of May to the 15th of July 2017 in the Gregorian reckoning
AND WE DO FURTHER DECLARE that foreigners who assisted as aforesaid, as determined by the Ministry of Defense, are eligible to be granted this recognition
AND WE DO FURTHER DECLARE that posthumous awards be granted with appropriate ceremony by the Ministry of Defense with the next of kin, and that a Memorial Scroll be issued accordingly
AND WE DO FURTHER DECLARE that anyone who willfully and fraudulently wears or displays the aforesaid recognition without authority shall, upon conviction by the appropriate civil or military court, be subject to hard labor at the pleasure of the Basileus, of a minimum of one year and not to exceed ten years
AND WE DO FURTHER DECLARE that it shall be unlawful to sell the aforesaid recognition and whosoever shall do so shall, upon conviction by the appropriate civil or military court, be subject to hard labor at the pleasure of the Basileus, of a minimum of one year and not to exceed ten years,
AND WE DO FURTHER DECLARE the Ministry of Defense is authorized to conduct the appropriate ceremonies and promulgate regulations to implement and enforce these Letters Patent
AND FINALLY WE DECLARE that these commands reach all Subjects in the Kingdom and all others throughout Micras
IN WITNESS WHEREOF We have caused these Our Letters to be made Patent.
WITNESS Ourself at Nirytos House in the 25th day of Kraneios in the 39th year of the Basileus' Reign,
