Grigg "Junior" Merkajski is a Sovereign economist. He was elevated to the office of Eminent on the Assayers' Committee of Overnumismators during the Republican War, and has served as Commissioner for the Sacred Treasury of the Benacian Union from 1704 to 1712. In his last months as Commissioner, Mercajski decried over-reliance on protected persons and called for Governorate rights in allowing use of free labor. His term as Eminent ended the same year.
