Avakair

Avakair, also sometimes spelt "Avakir" based on the local dialectal pronunciation, is a city on the far east coast of the Sovereign Confederation's Governorate of Asantelian. It is located in the bailiwick of Greater Avakair, and serves as an important port, financial center, and border city to Ransenar.

Historically, Avakair was considered one of the most important cities in Goldshire. It was famous for its position as the primary headquarters of the Assayers, an ancient and arcane organization known for their expertise in metallurgy and their ability to evaluate the purity and quality of metals.
