An order of chivalry and a secret society, the Virtuous Order of Babkhan Blackfriars (V.O.B.B.), was established during the third intermediate period of the Kingdom of Babkha. This was a tumultuous time which would see the V.O.B.B., whose membership comprised of various notables within the Euran Kingdom, briefly assume the mantle of governance over the realm in 1566 AN, before relinquishing it once more to the Shah of Babkha in 1568 AN. Also known as the Villainous Order of the Babkhan Blackfriars in some hostile sources. Some members are believed to have gone into exile, following the demise of the Kingdom, and the name of the Blackfriars district in Tiegang is believed to derive from once such colony of the Babkhan diaspora which fell under the influence of the V.O.B.B.; however the sole remnant clue to such a past may today only be found in the eponymous lowly watering hole that is frequented by the district's most destitute and disreputable characters.
