Birmingham United is a Florian football club based in Birmingham. On January 12th 2018 the club was bought by a group of Freelander investors for Cr28.5 million. After the dissolution of Freeland, United was brought into league control until Red Bear purchased the club with the promise of the name not being changed but to strengthen the team's ambitions for regular Apollonian competition. After United's shock relegation to the SLF Championship in 2021, Red Bear sold its shares of the club to its supporters' trust making Birmingham United the first professional sports team to be 100% owned by the fans. One year after the relegation to the second tier, Birmingham bounced back at the first attempt and won the SLF Championship.
