The War Service Medal was established by HRM King August Charles II in 2010. The medal is awarded to recognize a Gotzer's time, dedication and service to the Kingdom, either in a civilian or military capacity, during wartime. The War Service Medal is a general recognition that may be complemented by specific Campaign Medals that further commemorate the conflict or an operation thereof.
