History
With the foundation of Duchy of Leylstadt in 1675 AN, the Holy Catologian Church also made its appearance. Local churches were established in all villages of the Duchy, with the catodral in the town of Leylstadt becoming the centre of church governance. It formally became a diocese in 1680 AN. In 1683 AN, the duchy fell to The Green, with the church losing contact with the Magister.
But in 1691 AN, the former duchy was incorporated by Çakaristan. The church had independently formed itself into a stable ecclesiastical organisation, making it known as Eastern Apollonian Catologian Church. Soon the church was recognised by the Magister.
In 1746 AN, the Leyl Sadarya was transformed into the Leyl Catologian State, with the church's archbishop becoming the ruler of this princely state.
