The 1. SC Ludwigshafen is a football club based in Altstadt, Confoederatio Aemilia, a city formerly called Stadt Sankt Ludwigshafen. The club was founded in 1683 AN with help from the Esteemed Republican Alriggian Sports Guild (ERAS) which wished to attract more interest in Sport in Sint Barentsz and Sankt Ludwigshafen. Until 1696 AN the club was active in the Alriggian football competition, and the club was both a member of the ERAS and the Ludwigger Fußball-Bund. In 1696 AN the club was one of the founding members of the Ludwiggian Football League. As of 1735 AN, the club is active in the Aemilian top league, the Prima Foederatio.
