The University of Jääland (Jääkieli: Jäälannin yliopisto) is the only graduate university located in the constituent state of Iselande in the United Kingdom of Meckelnburgh.
History
The university was inaugurated in 1691 AN in then Jääland and the first in the country. It received initial funding from the Raspur Pact, particularly from Elwynn and Floria, and Hurmu. The university begin accepting students in 1692 AN. During The Troubles, the university was destroyed by forces of the Raspur Pact during the collapse of the Jääkieli state.
Following the annexation by Meckelnburgh, the University of Jääland reopened in 1711 AN, retaining its original name.
