James Sherrinford was a Calbain-Brettish politician, businessman and journalist who served as the second Governor-General of Calbion during Calbion's time as a Brettish protectorate. He also served as a Member of the Brettish parliament for the Conservative Party. A businessman by trade, Sherrinford was born in Batavia, where he became a banker and parter in the JM Group. Later, he was named Governor-Representative for the Iron Company in Nova Batavia. Sherrinford was part of the Brettish independence movement, together with Jack de Montfort.
As a journalist, Sherrinford founded the Micras Observer.
