Noursala (Commonspeak: Nörsale) is the capital and largest city within Aerla. It is the nation's most populous city, with around 338,000 inhabitants. The city is home to the seat of the National Assembly and the President. The city is located along the eastern end of a lake that shares the city's name.
The city is regarded as Aerla's transportation hub, containing the nation's only international airport, Noursala International Airport. The city also serves as the center of Aerla's economy and industry, serving as host to the many industrial plants, such as the Noursala Military-Industrial Company.
