1716 Directive on the Regulation of Uniforms

A decision of the High Presidium of the Benacian Union made on TBC.XIV.1716 AN that laid out guidance on the appropriate uniforms for personnel serving the Union-State.

The directive would not supercede the service and unit level regulations but would rather define the degree of permitted variability.

Uniforms of the Benacian Union

Organisation	Headwear	Upper Body	Lower Body
Benacian Union Defence Force	Barracks: black fez. Field: black berret.	Field-grey "kurta" tunic & khaki jacket.	Officers: field-grey trousers and black boots. Other ranks: khaki trousers and brown boots.
ESB Group	Red fez or turban	White shirt or blouse and a cream jacket	men: khaki trousers and black boots or court shoes. women: khaki or cream coloured full-length pleated skirt and black court shoes.
Nationalist and Humanist Party	Black fez.	Black uniform tunic.	Grey jodphur trousers and brown riding boots.

The directive would also set forth a schedule of punishments for the act of impersonating a member of these organisations, graded by the seniority of the rank being impersonated and the grade of the individual performing the offence.
