1716 Directive on the Regulation of Uniforms

A decision of the High Presidium of the Benacian Union made on TBC.XIV.1716 AN that laid out guidance on the appropriate uniforms for personnel serving the Union-State.

The directive would not supercede the service and unit level regulations but would rather define the degree of permitted variability.

Benacian Union Defence Force
  • Barracks: black fez.
  • Field: black berret.
Field-grey "kurta" tunic & khaki jacket.
  • Officers: field-grey trousers and black boots.
  • Other ranks: khaki trousers and brown boots.
ESB Group Red fez or turban White shirt or blouse and a cream jacket
  • men: khaki trousers and black boots or court shoes.
  • women: khaki or cream coloured full-length pleated skirt and black court shoes.
Nationalist and Humanist Party Black fez. Black uniform tunic. Grey jodphur trousers and brown riding boots.

The directive would also set forth a schedule of punishments for the act of impersonating a member of these organisations, graded by the seniority of the rank being impersonated and the grade of the individual performing the offence.
