The Hurmudan (or Hurmudans, in Hurmumol be-Hurmudan-ka) are the indigenous people of the Lake District of Hurmu. They used to be genitically distinct from the Norse people of the same area, but through centuries of interbreeding, there is today little difference between them.
Traditionally, they spoke Hurmumol, but today Hurmu Norse and Lakkvian are dominating.
A sizeable minority of Hurmudans exist in Nouvelle Alexandrie (see Hurmudans in Nouvelle Alexandrie).
