The Babkha national football team was the football team which represented the micronation of Babkha. The team was a member of the AEFA, and was run by the All-Babkhan Football Association.
The team existed twice in the FMF's history; firstly between mid-2007 and late 2009, and secondly between mid-2010 and mid-2013.
History
Babkha joined the FMF in 2007 on its return to Micras after revoking its claims prior to the foundation of the FMF. The team first competed in the following year's World Cup qualifiers, finishing second in their group behind Toketi.
In 2009's qualifying, Babkha were less successful, only managing to finish fourth in a five-team group which again Toketi topped. In late 2009, Babkha once again left Micras due to internal political reasons. However, the nation returned in the summer of the following year.
In their first qualifiers since returning, the team lost only once on its way to winning their group and qualifying for their first appearance at the FMF World Cup. In the finals, Babkha got off to a terrible start, with their worst ever loss; 7–2 against Interland, before drawing their remaining two games and finishing last in their group.
In the following year's qualifying, the team finished third in their four-team group with eleven points, behind both Novatainia and North Antarctica on goal difference. The team, however, qualified for the very first Copa Apollonia as the best third-placed team, but could only finish bottom of their group with two losses.
The team finished fourth in their five-team 2013 qualification group with nine points and failed to qualify for any tournaments. Soon afterwards, Babkha left Micras once more after being declared dead.
