Young Platypus was the club name for the Phinbella Under-22 National Football Team. It was managed by Phinbella Football Association (PhFA). The squad was the feeder team for Phinbella U-23 and senior national football team. Young Platypus once again became a single team composed of former Young Platypus A & B players. Young Platypus having lastly participated in a domestic league competition is the 2020 P2.League. The team was aimed at developing Phinbellan youth players and does not recruit any foreign nationals in its squad. The club homeground has been the 80,000-seaters, the FrostFire Rangers Stadium.
