Xiangi Liberation Forces, or XLF for short, is a fundamentalist armed guerrilla group founded in 1679. While XLF initially adopted Marxist-style communism, it later turned to the ideology of collectivism. The organization was first established as a socialist organization within Kipei Samet University. Later, in 1689, XLF started taking up arms as a guerrilla. XLF declared war on Sanpantul in 1680. The organization first organized to establish full independence for Xiangia, but later began to fight for autonomy. After the 1681 Tappu Hotel suicide attack, it was in a continuous attack position until 1683. It froze its activities in 1685 after the high-ranking official Edano Teijo was assassinated by Sanpanese forces in 1684, and disbanded after the murder of Khin Khim in 1688. In 1704 the XLF was allegedly re-established as a secret lobbying organisation. After the 1731 protests, the visibility of XLF sympathizers increased and it is claimed that they were nestled in universities and metropolises.
