Vrijwilligerslegioen "Waldemar Zinkgraven"

The Vrijwilligerslegioen "Waldemar Zinkgraven" (Volunteer Legion "Waldemar Zinkgraven") was a small force of Batavians, a mix of exiled Humanists and interned Shirerithian nationals offered an alternative to servitude or worse, collected at Thrallshaven in 1731 AN.

In spite of strenuous recruitment efforts, the General Inspectorate of Benacia Command had only been able to gather up 1,008 "volunteers" who would meet the requirements for enrollment in the legion. Those collected, by various means, were delivered to Thrallshaven during the fifth month of 1731 AN where they were placed in the barracks of the Corps of the Gentlemen-at-Cudgels for the duration.
