Viljo Kuusik (1640–1740) was a Hurmu (Lakkvian) marine biologist, oceanographer and politician (Coalition for Democratic Humanism). Minister of Fisheries (Hurmu) from 1690 until 1719 and from 1720 until his retirement in 1726. BSc Marine Biology and Oceanography (1662), MSc Oceanography (1664), PhD (1668), Professor (1685).
Died in 1740.
