Lyrics

A quick brain and a metal hand!
A jolly heart turned blue!
King Mondo's men shall understand
Just what this lass can do!
And has the mould at last been broke?
And shall our lady sigh?
Here's half a million Steerish folk
Will know the reason why...

And Shall Lystasia laugh?
Or shall Lystasia sigh?
Here's half a million Steerish folk
Will know the reason why!

Out spake their foreman clear and loud,
A jolly soul was he;
From Ermingander's distant crowd
We'll help our lady free!
We'll cross the ocean, land to land,
The mountain is no stay;
With "one and all," and picks in hand;
And who shall bid us nay?

And Shall Lystasia laugh?
Or shall Lystasia sigh?
Here's half a million Steerish folk
Will know the reason why!

And when we come to Mondo's gate,
A pleasant sight to view!
Come forth! Come forth! We shall not wait
For none including you!
Our lady is inside your hold;
Our lady she may sigh;
Here's half a million Steerish, bold,
Will know the reason why...

And Shall Lystasia laugh?
Or shall Lystasia sigh?
Here's half a million Steerish folk
Will know the reason why!
