The Combined Martyrs are a boyband consisting of all former members of the Martyr Jamshid-e Osman Combined Brigade that decided the defect to the Aemilian Federation after the Whales Confrontation. They were sick and tired of the authoritarian rule of the Imperial State of Constancia and yearned to live in freedom. The band formed in 1744 in Walstadt and launched their first album in 1745 with their debut album Martyrs and Martens, which included songs about their love for the small weasel-like animals, including the hit song Flee to the Night (Martens in Flight). It was moderately successful as the general public was interested in hearing their story of how they escaped the harsh conditions that they faced in the military, but the quality of their music was not considered enough for enduring success. Still, the singers were amazed about how much they were welcomed in Aemilian society and chose to remain there to live fulfilling lives in freedom. Their head singer, Nick Cartani became a teacher at the University of Walstadt, where he warned for authoritarianism.
