The Treaty of the Zibolerpalast is a treaty between the Lanzerwald and Etzeland. It establishes formal relations between the two neighbouring states, a defensive alliance and also provides for the establishment of a commonly controlled fortified palace, the Zibolerpalast. The treaty was signed on TBD.
Treaty of the Zibolerpalast
Treaty between the Republic of the United Cities in the Lanzerwald, to be named Lanzerwald in the rest of this document, and the Grand Duchy of Etzeland, to be named Etzeland in the rest of this document. Collectively Lanzerwald and Etzeland will be named the treaty partners in the rest of this document.
Article 1.
The treaty partners recognise each other's sovereignty over the territory held by them in accordance with the customs and regulations, as they are written in the Charter of the Micras Cartography Society.
Article 2.
The treaty partners will abstain from any hostile actions, or hostile posturing towards the other party. Additionally, the treaty partners commit to resolve all their mutual disputes cordially.
Article 3.
The treaty partners shall remain open and accessible to visitors and traders from one another, forasmuch is permissible under reasonable and non-discriminatory law.
Article 4.
The treaty partners will assist each other when the other partner is the victim of an unprovoked attack in its Cibolan territories.
Article 5.
The treaty partners will work together in developing their respective military capabilities, and will share military technology with each other and establish common ammunition standards so that ammunition from their respective ammunition stockpiles can be given and used by the other treaty partner in case of war.
Article 6.
The treaty partners will construct a fortified palace on the border between Lanzerwald and Etzeland in addition to establishing embassies in each others capital city. This fortified palace that shall be known as the Zibolerpalast shall house a common rapid-responce force of brigade strength, to which the Lanzerwald and Etzeland shall supply an equal number of soldiers, officers and equipment.
