Talenore Defense Force Navy

The Talenore Defense Force Navy is the naval warfare component of the Talenore Defense Force. It consists of two services, the Talenore Fleet Service and the Amphibious Corps.

Future developments

The regained sovereignty of Talenore in 1759 brought the poor status of the navy into sharp focus. Many ships had been cannibalised in order to keep a few of them floating. With the sale of Mistra to the Sanaman company Brightworks, Talenore no longer had a domestically owned defence industry. As a consequence, the new government chose to focus solely on the defence of the island in choice of new ship classes. A new missile boat class would be ordered, preferrably constructed in Talenore, and a few larger classes bought from abroad.

In 1670 the Navy acquired four Logistic Support Vessels, four corvettes, 20 missile boats and 100 S-2 missiles from the Constancian navy.
