Samuel Yee is a Dauian footballer who plays as a right winger for Daau Super League club Muscat DFC.

He is the twin brother of Christopher Yee.

Youth Career

As Samuel's family moved to Mataba, he started his career in the youth setups of Mataba DPMM, playing for them since he was 14. Samuel started as a centerback before being pushed to the flanks due to the lack of squad depth in their academy. He would study in the DPMM Center of Excellence for football and other normal subjects as he was a member of the DPMM Golden-Generation Squad. Yee would stay witht he youth team for another 2 years before moving to the senior team in the summer of 2009.

Senior Career

Mataba DPMM

Samuel was promoted to the Mataba DPMM senior team in 2009. He would leave the club in 2016 after a record 7 year stay with the club, becoming the club's longest serving player.

Jurong West

The Jurong based club would announce Adam Yee as their newest addition in 2016 on a free transfer. He would become the club's highest scoring defender of all time with 28 goals to his name.

Daas City FC

Daas City announced the arrival of Samuel on a free from Jurong West in late summer of 2019, signing on a 4 year contract with the Daas based club. Yee made his first start and debut for the club in a 1-0 humbling to Bintang Lukana, where he was subbed out for his brother in the 73rd minute. Samuel would finish the season strong with 2 goals to his name and helped the club fight their way up to the top half of the table.

However in his second and third season with the club Samuel suffered heavy injuries which left him out for a big part of the season and he would finish his time with the Citizens with 29 appearances and 4 goals. At the start of the 2022-23 season Samuel converted from a right back to a right winger for the remainder of the season. Samuel was also part of the treble winning team in the 2022-23 season.

Loan to Sembalang Sentek Mariners

Following stuggles with playing time, Yee signed with the Mariners on a one year loan deal with an optional buy clause ahead of the 2023-24 season. Samuel was deployed as a right midfielder during his time at Sentek Mariners and was at times playing as striker for the Sembalang side. Samuel finished the season with 3 goals and 10 assists, leading to a callup to the Daau national team for the 2024 Copa Apollonia.

Sembalang Sentek Mariners

Samuel joined the Mariners on a free following his contract expiration with Daas City, signing for one season plus an optional extension. An ACL tear meant that Yee was forced out for a good half of the season and chose not to exercise the option to extend his contract with the relegated mariners.

Muscat DFC

On July 2, Yee was announced as Muscat's first signing since their confirmation of promotion to the Daau Super League.

Personal Life

He is the twin brother of Christopher Yee and the cousin of Adam Yee.
