Return of Sisera
On the night of the 23rd to the 24th day of the 15th month of the year 1742 a pink meteor shower was seen over Cibola. The unusual sighting led to feverish speculation, what the this sign from the stars might signify. When the news reached Hurmu, it was picked up by members of the Siseranist Temple of Huyenkula, who saw it as a sign that Sisera bat Erasmus had reincarnated on the Cibolan continent. They were of course, overjoyed and wanted to go there to worship her, and bring her back to Hurmu, to rule over it again.
Born on the 23rd day of the 15th month of the year 1742 was Herodias Blutwasser, daughter of Jezebel Blutwasser (born 1709) daughter of Amalia Blutwasser (born 1676) daughter of Emma Blutwasser (1640-1702), daughter of Theodor Blutwasser (1635-1637) through genetic synthesis, son of Welf Blutwasser (1608–1637) and Sisera bat Erasmus. She was born as a healthy girl, but instead of crying after her birth, she produced a harrowing laughter. As she was born, three witches belonging to the Siseranist Temple of Hyenkula, Cassie, Barbara and Melinda, were chosen from all the witches belonging to the temple, to travel to Cibola to find the reincarnation of Sisera and worship her. They travelled to Altstadt, thinking the Queen of Micras would be born there, among the righteous followers of Sisera, and they inquired where she had been born. Now, news of the arrival of the three witches spread around in Aemilia and it reached the ears of Princess Emilia Antoinette, who bode them to come to Taktwinkel for an audience, which they accepted. And Princess Emilia Antoinette asked the witches where they thought the reincarnation of Sisera would be born, and they said that she would be born out of the line of Blutwasser, but that that line had been extinguished so they had sought in Altstadt, where those loyal to the Blutwasser dynasty had gathered after the fall of the Blutwasser dynasty. And the witches Cassie, Barbara and Melinda, and Princess Emilia Antoinette thought about it and Princess Emilia Antoinette decided to ask her wife Merida Vala for advice. So they sent a lackey to look for Merida, and Merida returned and she shrugged and said "there is no place that Sisera loved more dearly than Walstadt, if she were to return, surely there..?" and the other four nodded, as it made sense. And as the witches left, Emilia Antoinette and Merida spoke to each other, and Emilia Antoinette asked Merida, "this all sounds remarkable like that story in the Nazarene faith we always had to read in Spring, I hope I don't have to play the role of King Herod and try to have the little girl killed?" and Merida answered "no, that would be like super weird and evil" and Princess Emilia Antoinette nodded, relieved.
So the three witches travelled to Walstadt, as Walstadt was still controlled by Natopia, they were mindful of the Bovic scriptures, especially the The Adjuvant and knew that they would have to be quiet about their purpose, so as not to attract unwanted attention to the little girl that had just been born. They found her, and her parents, in a quiet suburb of Walstadt, the little girl was playing in the front yard, as her parents were drinking tea and enjoying the pleasant weather. They gave the little girl gifts that they had brought, they were a white plastic unicorn that would spit out glitter confetti if you would pull its tail, a pink princess dress and some candy. The witches were invited for supper, curry was served with broccoli, and after supper the witches returned to Hurmu. When they returned to Hurmu, they did not speak about the success of their mission, as they did not want to do or say anything that endangered the little girl.
