The Refliasia Self Defense Force (also known as the RSDF) is the primary defensive military force of the Duchy of Refliasia. The military's primary job is to provide civil services to the people of Refliasia in times of national distress as well as to defend other member-states of the USSO. However, the army is also trained and equipped so as to protect the nation in times of war and to secure the sovereignty of the state. During times of peace, the army serves a primarily ceremonial role, marching in parades and greeting/protecting high ranking government officials and foreign dignitaries. The RSDF was historically a division of the Phoklandian military (known then as the PIDF), this later changed in the 1680's when all of Phokland's former Micras assets were transferred to Refliasia.
