Radio Amaland is a public radio broadcaster that begin operations on 2.I.1762. Established as a state corporation on 15.XI.1761, it is an affiliate of ESB Media, which owns 20%. It is owned and operated by the Amaland government, and broadcasts from Hafnagaarð.
It broadcasts news and weather, as well as radio talkshows, soap operas in the afternoons, and commercials.
