Plan 1730, officially known as Wirtschaftsplan 1730 (Common Tongue: Economic Plan 1730), is a series of economic agreements and investments that are intended to increase the industrial output of the United Principalities of Cibola by 1730 AN.

First proposed by Chancellor Hans-Georg Nimitz, the plan seeks to bring together several regional economic initiatives into a single national initiative. The goals of the plan are outlined in the 5 Point Protocol (5 Punkte Protokoll).

  • Development of Industry (Branchenentwicklung)
  • Development of Infrastructure (Infrastrukturentwicklung)
  • Development of Technology (Technologieentwicklung)
  • Urbanization (Urbanisierung)
  • Development of Military Strength (Militärstärkeentwicklung)

Development of Industry

Shortly after the nation's independence in 1725 AN, the Imperial Senate passed legislation allocating funds for several corporations that were deemed essential for economic development. This includes Altdorfer Werften-Dampfkessel Werke AG, Ziboler Schwerindustrie, and Weisenburger Maschinefabrik. Significant tax breaks were offered to these corporations in return for the government buying shares in each of the companies.

Development of Infrastructure

Due to the limited infrastructure during the Lanzerwaldian era, much of the by now delipidated Zandarijn roads and rail networks had to be restored to functional conditions. Road-building gangs from the Nationalerarbeitsdienst began repaving the old roads with new asphalt and concrete.

With this focus on Infrastructure Development, the relevant legislation was passed to form the Autostraße System, a national highway system.

Development of Technology

Urbanization

After the fall of the civilized states of southeast Cibola, many of the once large urban centers were reduced to mere farming settlements due to looting and migration. The government sought to rebuild old urban centers, such as Hermannsplatz (Hamstadt), Jürichen (Prins Haven), and Altdorf (Oudorp)
