Pahlavye is a federal city located in the interior of Oportia. With 1,283,352 inhabitants according to the 1730 census, it ranks as the second-largest city in the country after Port de Huile. Pahlavye is renowned for serving as one of Oportia's primary Alexandrium refining centers.

Pahlavye serves as one of Oportia's most important Alexandrium refining centers, processing raw ore extracted from mines throughout the country. The Pahlavye Alexandrium Complex, built into the lower terraces of the city, houses some of the most advanced processing facilities in the world, capable of handling over 60% of Oportia's total Alexandrium production.
The city's economy is also supported by precision manufacturing industries that have developed around the Alexandrium sector, including specialized equipment production and advanced materials research. The Zagros Technical Institute, established in 1725 AN, conducts cutting-edge research into Alexandrium applications and serves as a major employer for the city's educated workforce.
