The Cowboys compete in the National Collegiate Athletic Federation (NCAF) as a member of the FLO-12 Conference and play their home games at Northcliff Stadium, which has a capacity of 125,000.

Northcliff is one of the most prominent college football programmes in Floria. The Cowboys are also among the best-supported programmes in the country, with Northcliff Stadium being the largest stadium used by an NCAF programme.

History

Stadium

Main article: Northcliff Stadium

The Cowboys play their home games at Northcliff Stadium, located close to the main campus of the University of Northcliff. With a capacity of 125,000, it is the largest stadium regularly used for NCAF football and the largest sporting venues on Micras. The stadium is closely associated with the university and has become one of the most recognisable venues in Florian sports.

Unlike several NCAF programmes based in major cities, which share professional or municipally owned stadiums, Northcliff Stadium is primarily used by the Cowboys. The venue has been expanded several times in response to increasing attendances and the growth of the programme. Its present configuration consists of a large enclosed seating bowl with extensive upper decks along both sidelines and behind the end zones, together with premium seating, hospitality facilities, media areas and a large student section.

Northcliff draws support from across the city and the wider state of Kingsland, and Cowboys home games are among the largest regular sporting events in the region. A substantial proportion of the stadium is allocated to students, season-ticket holders and university alumni, with additional seating made available for general admission and visiting supporters. Attendances vary according to the opponent and importance of the game, although major conference and nationally ranked matchups can attract crowds approaching the stadium's full capacity.

The largest crowds are generally associated with important FLO-12 Conference games. Fixtures against fellow Northcliff programmes Northcliff Tech and Northcliff St. Anne attract particularly strong local interest, while games against established conference opponents such as Westlake and Kingsland State regularly rank among the best-attended games of the NCAF season.

Northcliff Stadium is also capable of hosting neutral-site games and major NCAF events due to its capacity, transport connections and extensive media and hospitality facilities. Despite this, the stadium remains overwhelmingly associated with the University of Northcliff and the Cowboys.
