The Newcastle Garrison is a Line Infantry regiment tasked with the defence of Newcastle upon Eastmoor, capital of the Kingdom of Moorland. The unit was originally established by Nova England around 1500AN and served within the Nova English Armed Forces with distinction. The unit broke up during the Nova English diaspora but was re-established by Moorland in 1720 as the first unit of the Moorland Armed Forces, under the direct command of King Alpin MacMartin. They were crucial in the success of the kingdom's early victories and the unit has now been fully incorporated into the command of the MAF. In addition to defending Newcastle, the unit also serves as the Royal Guard, defending the royal family from harm.
