The Sovereign Prince or Princess of Rochevieux is the reigning monarch and head of state of the Principality of Rochevieux. All historical princes and princesses have belonged to House Winthrope. The current reigning prince is Charles III.
History
The Monarchy of Rochevieux was founded in AD 1737 by Peter I Winthrope, known as "le Conquérant" for his initial conquest of the Rochevais homeland. An unbroken line of Princes and Princesses has continued to the reigning prince.

The Prince is styled His Illustriousness. The Prince has traditionally held the Crownland of Rocheportais as a personal holding, and most have claimed the title "Protector of the Realm", signifying his personal leadership of the Rochevais military.
