The Moderate Coalition Party (Hurmu Norse: Lagoma samgaangalageð; Lakkvian Mõõdukas koonderapartei) is a political party in the Lake District, founded in 1742 by the merger of the Moderate Party and Koos. The two parties had, prior to the establishment of Hurmu in 1689, been regarded as each other's rivals. After 1689, they began aligning more and more in their opposition to humanism and Vanicism, as well as their desire to preserve democracy and the national identities and languages of the Hurmudans and Lakkvians.
