The Ministry of the Interior (Commonspeak: Mënestrum ovð Innern), often abbreviated as MoI is a cabinet-level government agency in charge of domestic policy implementation throughout Aerla. Its chief duties include working in coordination with executive ministries, domestic agencies, and local governments for the implementation of government policy.
The Ministry is headed by the Minister of the Interior, who is nominated by the President and confirmed by the National Assembly. Due to their importance in policy implementation, the Minister of State is often seen as the de-facto Vice President of Aerla. The current Minister of the Interior is Edward Bellachasse, who was nominated in 1760 AN by President Alexander Kim.
