LanzerwaldNet

The LanzerwaldNet is a national information network, similar to the internet, for the Lanzerwald Republic. It allows computers that adhere to the Nationalstandarddatenverarbeitungsanlage 1749 to connect to each other and exchange information, such as sending of emails and participation in chat groups or message boards. Physically, the LanzerwaldNet uses fiber-optic cables to transfer the information, with a speed of up to 1 Mbit/s, which is the legal digital speed limit. Connections between mainland Lanzerwald and the overseas territory of Aemilian Alrig are made possible through satellite communication. LanzerwaldNet connections are available in all cities in the republic.
