Nationalstandarddatenverarbeitungsanlage 1749
The Nationalstandarddatenverarbeitungsanlage 1749 is a legal standard for personal computers that can be sold in the Confoederatio Aemilia. Goal of the standard is to make the benefits of computing available to anyone in the nation, but to keep the bad effects, such as social media and a culture that relies more on visual imagery than text outside. The standard has minimum and maximum specifications for computers. Alch Digital Systems was the first manufacturer to produce computers according to the standard. With the purchase of a computer, the buyer has to pay a ⍲100 recycling deposit, to make sure broken systems will be disposed of in the proper ways, and won't just end up in the Lanzerwald. This deposit is paid back when the computer is returned to a recycling station.
