1666 AN
Compared to the previous census, the territory of the Jingdaoese Empire changed. The Zhou's Nandao, Qundao and part of Dongdao were abandoned. The Zhou Shengxianxia was renamed into Xianxia. As Nandao and Qundao were abandoned, the Norfolkian and Aryan cultures were no longer considered to be native cultures of the empire, members of these population groups were added to the Others ethnicity group. The Qyzylqaystan Republic was quietly integrated into the Jingdaoese Empire in 1665 AN. As the people had proven to be loyal and pure, they are recognized as part of the Jingdaoese ethnicity. It should be noted that like the Jingdaoese Saxons, the Jingdaoese Qyzylqay retain their own customs and their cultural influence remains great in the Qizhikai Zhou.
While there are more than nine million more Kildarians in Jingdao in 1666 compared to 1646, their absolute majority in 1666 was much slimmer than it was in 1646. Both the Jingdaoese and Batavian ethnic groups grew significantly. In the case of the Jingdaoese people this can be explained with the success of the Zhengbing Programme and other government programs for population growth. Many Batavians seem to have migrated towards Jingdao in the time of the Batavian independence. It should also be noted that there were already many of them in Jinkeai, a Zhou that receives a great deal of the fertility subsidies and accounts for almost a quarter of the Batavian growth in the preceding twenty years. The Norfolkian, Aryan and Other ethnicity groups have lost more than a million souls combined. This is mostly due to the abandonment of Nandao and Qundao, earlier known as Norfolk and Eblis-Rulak. The fastest growing population group is the Apollantean group, almost doubling in size. This is however a statistical oddity, as it is the result of adding the Zhou Liao for the first time to the census.
