The Ironwall Mobile Defense Platform is a self-contained counter-rocket, artillery, and mortar system designed by Javelin Industries to provide convoy and forward operating base protection against indirect fire threats. Entering service in 1741 AN, the Ironwall features dual 30mm rotary cannons capable of engaging incoming projectiles at ranges up to 6 kilometers, complemented by a 16-missile vertical launch system for extended-range interceptions. The platform's advanced phased-array radar can detect and track multiple simultaneous threats at distances up to 15 kilometers, while its automated fire control system calculates intercept solutions and engages targets without crew intervention.
Designed for rapid deployment and high mobility, the Ironwall can establish a protective umbrella over a 5-kilometer radius within minutes of arriving at a position, making it ideal for protecting mobile convoys traversing dangerous terrain or securing temporary encampments. The system has proven highly effective during Federal Forces of Nouvelle Alexandrie operations along the Keltian frontier, where it has successfully intercepted numerous rocket and mortar attacks launched by Confederacy of the Dispossessed forces, achieving an engagement success rate exceeding 85% in combat conditions.
